Here are some photos of the girls' new school, the Instituto Americano. It was founded by the Methodists over 100 years ago, and is about 25 minutes walk from our place. The girls take the "bus escolar". Kayla was unhappy with all of the children in her class wanting to touch her blonde hair on the first day of school!
I love the architecture of the school building, especially from the courtyard view. Lovely.
